IPL Skin Treatments
IPL- Intense Pulse Light is sometimes referred to as flash lamp therapy. This technology delivers intense pulses of non-coherent light over a broad spectrum of wavelengths. Due to the spectral range this light is able to target a range of structures or chromophores: Hair, Melanin (pigment), Haemoglobin (blood), Water and P. Acne bacteria. These chromophores are heated to the point of destruction, removing unwanted hair, pigmentation, vascular lesions and acne bacteria without damage to the surrounding tissues.

A Statement of Attainment will be issued upon completion.

* This class has been allocated to a maximum of 6 students per class. Models must sign a consent form prior to undergoing any treatment and undergo a patch test 24 hours prior to attending the college for a treatment.
